Notes:
This recording is absolutely sick and borderline ridiculous in terms of quality for an audience tape. If you want to hear power captured via digital audio, this is the tape for you. Not sure we could do as well today for some reason and why is that? One trainspotter moment I have called out before from the show is beautifully captured on this tape in the first minute or so of "Born In The U.S.A." As some of you might know, for this tour Max Weinberg switched from miking his drums to using drum triggers to fatten the sound. The drum trigger hits a sampler which plays a commanding "whoomp" sound. When Bruce starts "Born In The U.S.A." in Chicago, Max comes in with those single snare beats, only someone forgot to turn on the drum sampler/triggers. So for the first few bars its like "tick," "tick," "tick" as we only here the miked drum, then someone throws the switch and it's "kaboom," "kaboom," "kaboom." The difference is incredible and you'll hear it here." - Butterking.
