Francesco Well… You need some days to come back on the earth and write something about the show of last Wednesday in Milan. A mix of power, passion, happiness and glory. You can read the setlist, and you soon understand that it was a real magic night, but the setlist is just a piece of paper, that says nothing about the incredible night. The show was full of power. It was like you are racing on a 69 Chevy that never stops. From the beginning to the end, Bruce was rocking great, introducing some song in Italian. The voice was brilliant, the guitar went like a train. The crowd went crazy. For sure, the new song were less impressive than the old and beloved hymns: The Promised Land, Badlands, Thunder Road, Born to Run but also Lonesome Day and The Rising let the Italian fans loose their mind and you could see the whole arena raising their hands and you could hear every single person singing loud. Tremendous was the 1-2 shot Incident and E-Street Shuffle, with Bruce saying "We're going deep now deep now deep now…". The Magic Songs: Radio Nowhere is an absolutely great start and bring you soon in the heart of a rocking night; also really really great are the sequence Devil's Arcade-Last to Die (great voice, here)-Long walk home (with a extraordinary back vocals from Miami Steve); and also a great performance came from Gypsy Biker. Instead, Livin' in the future, Girls and I'll work for your love seem a little too soft, like a break-moment in the show. I liked very much the "Magic" song. The greatest moment of the night, in my own opinion: an incredible "Reason to believe" that makes the arena explode; and the Incident-E Street shots. Italian people showed one more time their great love for Bruce, singing and dancing all night long. The band played great, but on stage - now still more than in the past - it seems there's only Bruce. The dream goes on. And we can keep on dreaming. Thanks Bruce!
