Angie | The entire show i was trying to get Bruce's attention with my Atlantic City sign, I even had three men hoist me up so I was practically standing next to him, and he still didn't seem to notice the sign. Then at the end off the show, he walked over to where I was standing grabbed my hand, looked me in the eyes and said "sorry kiddo, we'll play Atlantic City next time, I promise". I was awestruck! Truly the best show I have ever been to. |
Brett H. | Never seen Bruce before and it was with out a doubt the best concert experience ever. When he started with Tenth ave until we all twisted and shouted at the end I was enthralled. Him and the band still looked and played like they were a hungry new band trying to gain an audience. PHENOMENAL. |
David | I'm 48 and have wanted to see Bruce since I was a kid, so this was my first show, and I wasn't disappointed. One of the most awesome concert experiences in my life. I understand why he has a such a great reputation as a live performer. |
Dream Out Loud | Yeah, I would have to agree it was a great show. I've stopped being concerned with the songs that I want to hear that he doesn't play, and now I base my opinion on the songs that he decides to play. And I thought the setlist was tremendous (Youngstown, Spirit in the Night, For You, Rosie, Murder Incorporated, etc). The whole Crush on You performance was great (practicing before the song started, Stevie saying that we were gonna find out why they hadn't played the song in almost 30 years, etc) and Bruce's reaction after playing the song was fantastic. I liked the return of the 3-hour + show. I was a bit disappointed with the shorter show back in November. |
