Glen Graubart My second visit on the WOAD tour. He did not disappoint. Took the family and sat way back this time. First time in a long one that I have been very far back for a Bruce show. Did not know if I would feel the same way from far back. He resonnates to the whole crowd. Simply amazing. When you take your children to a show, you realize that the new material does have value and they connect with that better. While they like the traditional stuff like Promised Land, BTR, Thunder Road and Badlands; they also really get into Waiting on a Sunny Day, The Rising and Outlaw Pete. I guess the new material does have merit. Having seen him 14 times now, I was wondering if I would see stuff that I have never seen before (other than the new cover segment which I love). Well I had never seen him do Growin Up, Independence Day, Janey and Saint in the City - so there was something for me. The true hightlight is when he breaks into Thunder Road when you don't expect it. Another highlight for me was Prove It All Night. I think I have seen that song at least a dozen times but never in the middle of the show. When I looked over and saw my daughter Rachel really grooving to Nils solo, I knew that the night was a huge success. In closing, I will definitively tell you he is the best live performer ever!!!!!
