One evening show, held at The Center, on Richmond's Free University campus, with Steel Mill the sole act on the bill. The band drove non-stop from California to Richmond to make it on time to this gig and they just made it. In a 1979 interview in the fanzine Thunder Road, Vini Lopez commented: "We had to get back to Richmond in 3 days to do a gig. We made it. But that was a delirious show. I drove most of the way back, me and Tinker".
