Eyewitness

Jerome G. Snider	It was a Brick Township prom. There was a band, the Gordon James Quintet, and Bruce playing solo. It was not two shows, but continuous music where our band played dance music and then Bruce performed with an acoustic guitar and harmonica on a neck holder, and then back and forth throughout the evening.
Richard Sette	It was the Brick High School Junior Prom. The band was The Gordon James Quintet. (Gordon is now a Jazz artist. This was his first band) this ban played for the dance and Springsteen played solo during dinner. I can swear to the accuracy of this account as I know several people who were there. I was the lead singer in the GJQ. My future wife was an attendee and was involved in booking Bruce.
Rose Marie Leeds (D’Elia) Class of 1971	In early 1970 Bruce Springsteen did, in fact, play an acoustic guitar on stage at the Regency-Irvington Hotel in Lakewood, NJ. Here, the Brick Township High School Junior Prom was held, class of 1971. He played his guitar and sang as we ate dinner. It was not a concert probably less than an hour.
