Bruce makes yet another walk-in guest appearance with Norman Seldin & The Joyful Noyze (featuring Clarence Clemons). Seldin and his band were booked for consecutive Fri-Sat shows here from June 16 to July 8. Although it's clear Bruce was more than mildly interested in obtaining Clarence's services, evidence suggests Bruce's offer to Clarence to join his Greetings Tour band was still at least two months away.
