The Joint in the Woods didn't have tickets for Springsteen shows. In fact, the January show and the April 13, 1974 shows only had about a dozen people in the audience. (Mad Dog Lopez actually staggered past me muttering, "This band is going nowhere.") For comparison, I couldn't get in to the Strawbs performance 2/15/74 it was so crowded.
