´´I used to live in this house, I used to live in this house, was about….(?) on the main drag in town, it was on this street called South Street down in New Jersey and, uh….like, for a while I was living there with the band, like the band I had at the time, it was me, it was this cat named Mad Dog and, uh….Stevie used to come by, Steve, my guitar player, Miami Steve…. and every day (?) five o´clock used to be this, this girl used to work downtown, she used to like walk by our house all the time, she´s like, she´s like one of them girls like, like, you´re scared to say like ´hello´ to or something (?) yeah, and we used to sit there, you know, like some fools, you know….every night me and Steve, we´d sit out there, you know, we´d sit out there on the porch and, uh, I´d say ´Here she comes, Steve, here she comes walking by (?) go to her and say ´Hi´´, you know, and never would, never did none of that stuff and uh….so we used to try, we used to try to get like, like the, the weird kids, you know, like, on the block, ´Go say ´hello´ to her, man, find out what her name is for us, you know´….but they, everybody was too scared, everybody was too scared, this happened all the time, like, day after day, like, I´d say ´Well, tomorrow, tomorrow, Steve´, I said ´Tomorrow….you kids just watch me´ (chuckles) ´Watch me do my thing, alright, I´m gonna go up and say ´hi´, say something to her, find out where she lives and stuff´, but like you never would, tomorrow´d come and the next day and the next day and the next day so finally like I moved away, you know….didn´t have that problem no more….well, it wasn´t, there was always somebody else, you know (chuckles) but we never found out her name, never knew what her name was but ….but I´ll tell you that, that all the guys on my block call her ´Flamingo´….

´´Some folks said….it happened in Minneapolis….yeah, C, that´s what she said….other folks said….it happened in, uh, in Paris and…..but actually (chuckles) it was in a little cafe….on the other side of the border….she was giving me food…..that could make my mouth water….
