This Seattle gig was a sellout, unlike the previous night's weak attendance in Portland. Bruce's first ever appearance in Washington, and he can be heard thanking the crowd and mentioning this is his first-ever concert in Seattle (a scheduled appearance in early March 1973 had been cancelled). The setlist is culled from a number of sources: a partial audience recording that cuts in during "Backstreets", a fan who attended the show remembering that "Thunder Road", "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" and "Born To Run" were played, and a review of the show printed in the Vancouver Sun that adds "She's The One" and "The E Street Shuffle". Finally, there's a review in the Gonzaga Bulletin of Gonzaga University in Spokane that adds "Spirit In The Night" and "4th Of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)". The resulting 16-song setlist is possibly the complete set. "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)" includes a snippet of "Theme From Shaft" in the midsection and "For You" is solo piano.

I DID see BRUCE when he first hit Seattle in November of 1975………he was on the cover of Newsweek and TIME that week as well. Bought tickets ahead of time……….second ROW in a 2,000 seat theater the PARAMOUNT in Seattle………….the ticket? with tax……………….5 dollars. 2nd row ! good GOD…………sold the stub on ebay a few years back for over 50 dollars. I was 20. I just remember when he was doing BORN TO RUN I had !!!!!!!! to go pee……so had to excuse myself and walk past a dozen people to get to the aisle and the can………..I got back before he was done and could hear the music the whole time even away from hall. I tell ya……I remember well Clarence wailing out the opening number……..JUNGLELAND. I can tell you for a fact he opened with JUNGLELAND……..so if you have that you have the first song…. I remember 10th ave freeze out pretty sure……..he really didn't have much out yet……Born to Run was basically new then. he DID play that one for sure………I told you my memory of that one……..the incredible thing was that even though I was in the second row, the music just compelled us to stand up it was that good ! I was THINKING !!! Thunder Road……..that was it………it starts out slow and builds and that is what he opened with………for sure.
