First official show of the Lawsuit Tour and the debut of the Miami Horns Quartet line-up #2, featuring Ed De Palma (saxophone), John Binkley (trumpet), Steve Paraczky (trumpet), and Dennis Orlock (trombone). Though this Philadelphia-based foursome had never played with Southside Johnny's band, they were recruited (with help from line-up #1) and named by the Jukes resourceful manager, Miami Steve Van Zandt. The group would be a permanent fixture until tour end in March 1977, although they're only heard on a few songs each night. "Something In The Night" now features a trumpet accompaniment. "Backstreets" includes a version of the midsection 'Sad Eyes interlude' for the first time; this will greatly expand and become a fixture of performances of the song for the next few years. "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)" includes Roy playing about a minute of Bach's "Prelude No. 1 In C Major (BWV 846)" and a snippet of "Theme From Shaft" in the midsection.
