Audience tapes, two recording sources are known. The first is available on CDR 'Action On The Streets Of New Haven' (Fanatic) from the Original Master Series. A second source of excellent quality recorded by the sound crew, missing the first two and a half songs, is available from the JEMS Archive, released in May 2015 as 'Nothing To Lose: The 1977 Tour Revisited Volume Five' and is sourced from a low generation cassette. The remarkable version of "Backstreets" is complete on this tape, but cut on 'Action On the Streets Of New Haven'. There is also a small edit in "She's The One", which is patched with Fanatic's recording.

´´Well, I remember in the summertime…..me and this friend of mine, we used to get his old man´s car…..and we´d take off and head down towards the beach….and we was too young, they wouldn´t let us into bars but we used to park outside on the street, get the bouncers to leave the doors open…..we´d sit there on the curb all night listening to the bands coming down from New York City, playing along the Shore in the summertime….and we used to sit there all night just talking, watching what´s going on, drinking a little bit and around four in the morning we´d head back home….and my old man, he used to have this thing, every night, ever since I was old enough to remember, he´d shut off every light in the house and he´d sit in the kitchen, smoking a cigarette, drinking beer….my Mom´d sit in the frontroom just watching TV till she fell asleep, got up to go to work…..he´d be sitting there waiting for me and my sister to come in….and I´d get outside the car and I´d stand there in the driveway, I´d look through the screendoor, I´d see the light of his cigarette butt…..you know, he´d be sitting there waiting for me all night long and I´d slick my hair back as tight as I could and I´d try to make it through the kitchen up to my room, if I could just make it to my room….but every night he´d stop me and call me to come back and sit down at the table…..we´d be sitting there in the dark….and sometimes he´d make me go out with him in the car around dawn…..and he used to always ride me by this white house that was sitting at the edge of town…..I remember the old man used to ride by that white house every day…..and sometimes we´d park outside there and just sit….and he´d be drinking his beer while we were sitting in the car ….and I remember….he´d start off, always start off talking easy….how things was going, what was happening….and slowly he´d start building up, he´d start asking me where I was getting my money from and just what I thought I was doing with myself and how he was sitting there watching….watching my whole life go to waste….and we´d end up screaming at each other, my mother, she´d always end up running….running in from the frontroom trying to keep us off each other, trying to keep us from fighting with each other and I´d always end up running out the backdoor, back out into the street, telling him someday….telling him someday he was just gonna have to learn to live with it…..because it was my life and I was gonna do what I wanted to do…..´´
