Info & Setlist | Venue

Set features the debut of Wilson Pickett's "In The Midnight Hour" in the second half of the show. It was a completely unrehearsed performance - later on Steven Van Zandt said, "He turned around and called 'Midnight Hour', and we all just about fainted. Funky (bassist Garry Tallent) didn't even believe we were doing it until about the second chorus." Roy plays the piano intro before "The River". Bruce sings a line from Wilson Pickett's "I Found A Love" as an introduction to "Fire". Clarence sings the opening lines to Lloyd Price's "Stagger Lee" as an introduction to "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)". "Detroit Medley" includes "I Hear A Train". "Because The Night" is dropped for the first time on the tour.
