Audience tapes (four sources) and partial DVD. Four recording sources are known to exist, the first is available on CD 'El Boss En Barcelona' (RM) and from tape (mjk5510), this version is missing the end of both "Because The Night" and "Point Blank", and has a splice in "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)". A second source is available from the master cassettes (Zappa) with last two songs missing and a splice in "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)". A third source is in limited circulation and is very distant sounding (MSA). A very good fourth source of just the second set and encores is also in limited circulation.
Show is partially filmed from the audience and ten tracks (all cut in some fashion) circulate on a compilation DVD. The ten songs filmed are "Who'll Stop The Rain", "Two Hearts", "The Promised Land", "The River", "Badlands", "Thunder Road", "Cadillac Ranch", "Sherry Darling", "Hungry Heart" and "You Can Look (But You Better Not Touch)". Clips of this footage can be seen over the closing credits of Thom Zimny's documentary The Ties That Bind. Silent Super 8mm footage of three songs with dubbed audio shot from the floor in front of the stage also exists. The three songs (all brief partial clips) are "Prove It All Night", "Out In The Street", and "The Ties That Bind".
21.04.81 Barcelona, Spain, intro to ´´Independence Day´´
´´This is, this is called ´Independence Day´….thank you, thank you….I need a little, a little quiet on this, please, thank you….[the music starts]….I grew up in this small town, was only about 10,000 people and….as I got older, I watched, I watched the people around me and it seemed like nobody was going nowhere or knew what they wanted to do or knew what their lives were gonna be about….and….I started to look back and I saw that, that my father…. worked in a plastics´ factory….and that my grandfather worked in a rugmill in town….and that….things wouldn´t be any different for me unless I did something about it….so….I tried to find out, to learn things about myself and about where I came from, about what my people were like and….in school, it seems like they never, they never teach you the things that you need to know….and lately I was reading a book, I went back to learn and I read a book called ´The History of the United States´ and….and in it you learn, to learn where I was coming from and how I was not gonna end up a victim like I feel my father did and like his grandfather….and it´s easy to do so if you can, when you´re young, find out about yourselves …find out about where you come from and what you can do about where you´re gonna go…´´

21.04.81 Barcelona, Spain, intro to ´´This Land Is Your Land´´
´´This…this is a song, it was written by Woody Guthrie….it was written in the States, I guess in the ´30s or the ´40s and it was a song, it´s a song about, about, uh, about living free….and it´s a fighting song ´cause the song, the title of the song is ´This Land Is Your Land´ and….. and what it means is the land that you live in should belong to each, to each and every one of youse and that….it doesn´t belong to any special group, whether they´re rich or whether they´re poor….and….it´s a song, it mentions, the places it mentions are in the United States but it´s a song for all the people from all over the world….´´
