This show had been rescheduled from July 27 and so became the last night of the tour and some farewells - "It's Hard To Be A Saint in The City" (last performance until 1996 solo, or 2000 with the full band), "The Ties That Bind" (last performance until 1999), and the final show for Steven Van Zandt as a member of the E Street Band until the Reunion Tour in 1999. Also the final "Quarter To Three" until 1988. Roy plays "Once Upon A Time In The West" as a prelude to "Badlands". A member of the crew introduces Bruce at the beginning of the band introductions in "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)" with an acrostic poem in the style of the one Bruce introduced Roy with elsewhere on the tour; later in the intros, Bruce sings "Sweet Soul Music". "Detroit Medley" includes "I Hear A Train" and "Mony Mony". With their performances, eight songs were almost certainly played at every show on The River Tour: "Born To Run", "The Promised Land", "Out In The Street", "The River", "Badlands", "Cadillac Ranch", "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)", and "Detroit Medley". Of these, however, only "The Promised Land", "Out In The Street", "Badlands", and "Cadillac Ranch" are positively confirmed.
