Springsteen's third Jersey-area performance in four days came once again at the Stone Pony. On Friday night, May 2, E Streeter Soozie Tyrell celebrated the release of her solo album, White Lines, with a show at the Asbury Park club. Both Springsteen and Patti Scialfa were on hand to watch, and to take part as well. For "Ste. Genevieve", a song from White Lines Tyrell called her "personal favorite" and "the best song I've ever written," she called up "two of my closest friends" to help her out, and Patti and Bruce sang backup. Later, during the encore, Bruce and Patti returned to the stage, this time with Bruce picking up a guitar, for a cover of Bobby Womack's "It's All Over Now" — Bruce duetting with Soozie at center mic and Patti on backup vocals.
