“Yes…a Stevie request (chuckles)…(laughs) thank you…I wanna thank everybody for coming out tonight (crowd cheers) thank you, Milwaukee…we´ve got some friends in the hall tonight, we´ve got folks from the Growing Power and Second Harvest, Growing Power inspires communities to build sustainable food systems, (?) and ecological (?) through urban community gardens, training programs, and our friends from the Second Harvest, (?) they distribute food to pantries and soup kitchens and homeless kitchens and for every dollar that you donate, Second Harvest can provide five meals so these are good folks out on the frontlines doing God´s work, if you can remember the Growing Power and Second Harvest…we have a real special treat tonight, back in, uh…´73 I was, uh, entranced by Van Morrison´s “Astral Weeks”-album and… that´s one if you haven´t heard it, it´s called “Astral Weeks” by Van Morrison, that´s, it´s one of the most beautiful records ever made…and the bass player on that record was, was just so mesmerizing and so powerful that I listened to it over and over again every night and I was lucky enough to have that bass player, a fellow named Richard Davis, he´s, he´s here tonight (crowd cheers) [Richard Davis joins Bruce onstage] we haven´t seen each other for 30 years (chuckles)…and he came up last night and said “Hey, where´ve you been?” (chuckles) but he played on “The Angel” on “Greetings,” he played on “New York City Serenade,” then he played on this song so I´m very pleased and, and honoured to have on our stage, one of the great, great, great, great, great, great bass players, Richard David (crowd cheers)…”
