Final show of the European leg includes tour premiere "I'm Goin' Down" for the first time ever in Europe, played by sign request. Final performances of the tour for "Tougher Than The Rest" and "This Hard Land". "Livin' In The Future" includes an unusual soul intro along with a lengthy instrumental outro vamp. "Mary's Place" includes "The Monkey Time" and "Twist And Shout" includes "La Bamba". Members of the Springsteen family are onstage dancing along to "American Land" (including Bruce's son Evan, who is introduced by name).

Strange though it may seem, the second show was even better than the first. A fantastic set list with many classic out-takes (Murder, Hard land, Light of day), I'm goin' down Rosalita and Detroit Medley. The sound was better than on Saturday and Clarence was in very good shape. A weekend to remember, it was my 22nd Springsteen show and he never fails to surprise me.

In 2008 the rumor had spread that the Barcelona dates would be Bruce's last dates with the E Street Band, seized by panic and anxiety I managed to convince my wife that my presence in Barcelona was absolutely necessary! I didn't have a ticket, but only a contact with a guy I've never seen who maybe had an extra ticket for the third tier, better than nothing I thought so I took a plane by myself and on my arrival in Barcelona I met my contact and closed the deal. Having arrived very early and given the lack of controls, I managed to enter the lawn behaving like the classic sneaky Italian, usually I'm not, but in that case I couldn't resist! However during the concert I naturally met other Italians and right in front of us there was a Spanish boy who throughout the concert kept hoisted up his sign with the request for Pony Boy! My two new cronies and I were terrified that Bruce would grant his request, what the hell all those kilometers and those discussions with my wife to listen to Pony boy! Well no! Luckily the concert was great, the E Street Band didn't break up and above all no Pony boy. After the concert I immediately took the plane and in the morning at nine I was at my workplace, exhausted, but with a perpetual smile on my face.
