“Good evening, good evening (crowd cheers) welcome, welcome, welcome and thank you for coming out tonight…oh…this is, uh…we got three shows left counting tonight…we’ve been, uh, on tour for good part of a couple of years, I think, with the “Magic”-record and “Working on a Dream” and I wanna thank you all for supporting all our new music and our shows (?)(crowd cheers) as we got towards, towards the end of the tour we were trying to think of something we could do that would be fun for the band and hopefully enjoyable for our fans and so we’ve been playing our, our albums straight through (crowd cheers) we’ve played “Darkness,” played “Born in the U.S.A,” we played “The Wild and the Innocent,” played “The River” and tonight…this was, uh, this was an important record for us, we were, I had a three-record contract and I’d already had two records that came out and stiffed and so, uh, this was our last shot and, uh….this was a record where I sort of, we started a lifelong conversation I’ve been having with a lot of you folks out there (crowd cheers) uh…this was also, uh, this was my young man’s music so this is for all you new, new fans out there too (crowd cheers) so tonight…Nashville, Tennessee…shout if you know it (starts the harmonica intro) (crowd cheers)…”

“Yes, yes…thank you, Nashville (crowd cheers)…(?)…alright, we got some friends tonight in the hall from the Second Harvest Foodbank of Middle Tennessee…Second Harvest Foodbank serves the hungry in 46 Middle and Western Tennessee counties, last year alone they distributed more than 40 million pounds to struggling citizens here in Tennessee, if you pick up the newspapers, you’ll see that the demand of the foodbanks has gone up, up, up as the economy’s gotten worse and worse, people have lost their jobs and the unemployment rate has gone higher and higher, grassroots organizations like the Second Harvest Foodbank of Middle Tennessee are very often all that stands in-between kids going to bed at night hungry or with something in their stomachs…please if you get a chance, you can see them on the way out, support your local foodbank, the Second Harvest Foodbank of Middle Tennessee (crowd cheers) alright, we’ll try something here just for Nashville (crowd cheers) we’ve never played it before (crowd cheers) Curt…I don’t know if you know this…(?)…”
