Night three features the tour premiere of "Cover Me", last played in 2017, in a 31-song setlist that completes all songs played from the Born In The U.S.A. album for the tour. Stevie takes the closing solo in "Prove It All Night". "Twist And Shout" features a brief "La Bamba".

Just back from the show. From a setlist perspective, I much preferred night two—the opening stretch tonight absolutely killed but the show was missing both a true rarity and a true (extra) masterpiece like Power Of Prayer and Racing respectively, which for me are two really key elements that take a show to the next level. Having said that, in every other way, tonight was much, much better than Friday. Most important, Bruce's vocals have FULLY recovered—he sounded absolutely years younger than the previous show, it felt extraordinary to me. Similarly, his movement (while obviously there wasn't a ton of it) felt way less ginger and more natural, and his guitar playing was much more precise. It also felt to me like he was playing more to the whole room (rather than just the pit), and speaking of the crowd, it seemed more energetic and more engaged than Friday as well (not, once again, in Section 123, which was a total dud!). Other notes: -Bruce did all the guitar on Cover Me (rather than Nils) and sounded excellent. The horns were really good on this one I thought, often punctuating the arrangement rather than only reproducing the main riff. The backing singers worked great as well. -Crowd was super into Trapped/Ghosts, the momentum there was great. Bruce leaned into everyone clapping along towards the end of Ghosts in a way I haven't seen at other shows. -Steve took the end solo on Prove It, as has been noted; on Friday, it was kind of a pseudo-duel thing with Bruce playing as well (and seemed to be a surprise to Steven); here, it was a traditional solo and sounded good to me though I love Bruce on that song. -Hate what the horns do to Atlantic City—one of their very worst songs. -I really don't get/like having the audience sing part of the opening verses of The River; it just doesn't make sense to me for the song and seems way off tonally. Crowd eats it up though. -During Last Man Standing, the subtitles accidentally had one line of the song in French! -I love I'm On Fire and it's so great to have a wildcard slot in that part of the set, but I have to say I didn't really like the performance. He did it in his kind of jaunty campfire singalong style (think the slow dance-walk from Thunder Road/Tenth Avenue, but in place)—undercut the intensity IMO. -Twist And Shout "I don't want to go home" bit was effectively rewritten, with Bruce and Steve hamming it up looking out at the crowd and pointing out that after "three nights, nine hours," we looked tired! There was also a (quite brief) La Bamba interlude for the first time on the tour (after sort of semi-teasing it on Friday). Came home to the hotel tired and happy.
