Recording session for Born To Run. In February 1975, frustrated with stalled progress on the third album, Springsteen had asked Jon Landau to join the production team. Among Landau's first moves was to insist on relocating the sessions to a new studio, the Record Plant in New York City. Meanwhile, engineer Louis Lahav and his wife Suki Lahav had left the United States for Israel shortly after; Lahav is replaced by an keen, untested young engineer: Jimmy Iovine.
