At the request of John Hammond, Bruce visits the radio studio of WPLJ-FM (formally WABC-FM) for an interview with Father Bill Ayres, a Catholic priest who hosted an hour-long Sunday radio show called On This Rock that mixed rock star interviews, spirituality and social action. The entire Springsteen interview was over 60 minutes but it was edited down to about 30 minutes of material for the show. This was a delayed broadcast, the Springsteen segment first aired as part of Father Bill's April 15, 1975 program.
