Scheduled: 20:00 Local Start Time ??:?? / End Time ??:??Bruce Springsteen appears as a "special appearance from somewhere in the world" at the CBS TV special Play On: Celebrating the Power of Music to Make Change. He speaks from home in support of WhyHunger, but does not perform. At the event various artists are performing at historic venues in three cities, as well as other segments, and raise money for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and WhyHunger. The evening is hosted by Kevin Bacon and Eve; musical performers are Bon Jovi, Yola with The Highwomen and Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr., LL Cool J with DJ Z-Trip, Sheryl Crow, Andra Day and Ziggy Marley, Machine Gun Kelly, Maren Morris, and Sara Bareilles, Emily King, Jon Batiste, and Steve Jordan. Other non-performing special guests are Ringo Starr, John Legend, and Michael Bloomberg.
