Cancelled Springsteen performance in support of Maria Muldaur, never rescheduled. This gig had been slated to take place in the school's Texas Hall venue. Details and reason for the cancellation are not completely known. An article in the Austin American-Statesman says it was "due to a previously scheduled commitment." It also says that the Armadillo World Headquarters public relations director said "Springsteen was committed to Columbia Records to produce a single by Monday [June 17th]." It is unknown if this is truly the reason why this gig was cancelled and if so how it worked out with no single ever being released.
