Various recording and mixing sessions for the third album take place during this month and likely later in the fall. "Chrissie's Song" is an early, acoustic version of what would eventually become "Thunder Road". The final mix for "Born To Run" is completed in October; Mike Appel would send copies of the song, without label permission, to various favored radio stations in November.
