Recording session for Born To Run. The album version of "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" was completed on this date, with a four-piece horn section of studio pros in the studio. Steven Van Zandt, visiting the studio, was horrified by how the track sounded, and totally rewrote the horn arrangement on the fly, humming each musician a new part. The result would create the song as we know it.
