Springsteen records additional acoustic home demos on a small cassette-recorder. The released version of "Mr. Outside" was recorded on this date. The exact recording dates for several of these demos, particularly "Chevrolet Deluxe" and "You Gotta Be Kind", are uncertain, but were almost certainly in the early Fall; we have placed the song here pending further information.
