Further sessions for "Streets Of Philadelphia" were held in October, producing a different recording of the song featuring Ornette Coleman, Tommy Sims, and vocalist Little Jimmy Scott. This version was planned for released up until December but was ulitmately nixed, though a brief snippet is audible partway through the film Philadelphia. Tommy Sims's vocals from this version, however, were overdubbed onto the demo for the released versions. Bob Clearmountain's mixing sessions at Mix This Studios in Pacific Pallisades, CA also likely took place around this time.
