Recording sessions for The Ghost Of Tom Joad were held in multiple phases in spring/summer 1995, likely between April and June. For convenience, we have placed the undated songs from these sessions together here. The album versions of "Dry Lightning", and "Straight Time", and "Across The Border" were recorded during these sessions, as were the released versions of "Dead Man Walkin'" (in April or May) and (in May or June) the released versions of "Delivery Man", the Somewhere North Of Nashville version of "Stand On It", and "Tiger Rose", as well as the base tracks for the released versions of "Blue Highway", "Detail Man", "Poor Side Of Town", "Repo Man", "Silver Mountain", and (most likely) "Under A Big Sky".
