Various sessions were held around summer 1998 to overdub new elements to some of the songs that would be released on Tracks. At one session, early E Street Band members Clarence Clemons, Danny Federici, and Vini Lopez were brought it to record backing vocals for "Thundercrack"; at a different session, the 1988 Tunnel Of Love Express Tour horn section recorded new parts for "Hearts Of Stone" and "Lion's Den". The horn part for "Give The Girl A Kiss" seems to date from a separate session around this time, as Jerry Vivino subs in on tenor saxophone for Mario Cruz. Some time during 1998 or early 1999, Springsteen also recorded an early/demo version of "Waitin' On A Sunny Day"; it's not known when exactly this occurred, or what if any additional musicians participated. We have placed it here for convenience pending further information.
