Springsteen recorded his vocal, guitar, and percussion parts for the High Hopes versions of "American Skin (41 Shots)" and "The Ghost Of Tom Joad" during sessions in early 2013; his contributions were done as overdubs over a base track recorded by Ron Aniello, Tom Morello, and Max Weinberg during separate sessions in Los Angeles. Bruce's new elements for the songs released on American Beauty were also completed around this period (some additional overdubs were recorded elsewhere). It is not confirmed at what studio Springsteen's parts were recorded; we have placed them here pending further information. At some point in 2013, Springsteen also recorded his studio version of "Dream Baby Dream" with Aniello; around ten versions were apparently completed before Bruce was satisfied. Bruce recorded a base track at Stone Hill Studio and the song was completed with various overdubs recorded separately. Bruce and Patti Scialfa also recorded the base track for their version of "Linda Paloma", released on the 2014 various artists compilation Looking Into You: A Tribute To Jackson Browne at Stone Hill Studio, likely in early 2013; the song was completed with various overdubs later.
