Annaliesa Place is an American violinist. She performs as soloist and chamber musician across the United States and abroad. She performs regularly with Classnotes, Thurnauer Chamber Music Society, Traveling Notes, ACJW, and ECCO. Annaliesa has collaborated with Sting, Peter Gabriel, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, and Herbie Hancock. Place received a B.M. from Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University and a M.M. from The Juilliard School. Her principal teachers have included Vasile Beluska, David Russell, David Updegraff, Victor Danchenko, and Robert Mann. Ms. Place is on the faculty of the Dwight-Englewood School.
