Kozasa, Ayane

Ayane Kozasa (born 1987, Japan) was the founding violist of the contemporary music-focused Aizuri Quartet. Kozasa's musical expertise and her championing new music for the viola landed her a position with the world-renowned Kronos Quartet in 2024. While she is most active as a chamber musician, Kozasa is also active as an orchestral musician and soloist, as well as a university educator and mentor at camps, festivals, and other community outreach programs.
