Bonaparte, Bonny

Bonny Raphael Bonaparte, a.k.a. Bonny B. is a Trinidadian drummer who has performed with artists including Freddie Hubbard, Al Jarreau, Grover Washington, Jr., George Duke, The Jacksons, James Brown, B.B. King, Albert King, ABBA, Natalie Cole, The Bee Gees, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Taylor, and many more. Bonny toured and recorded with Bruce Hornsby from 1999-2002 and has played on the albums Here Come the Noisemakers, Big Swing Face, and Halcyon Days. From 2006 to 2011, he was a member of the Grammy Award winning jazz fusion group Spyro Gyra.
