Hazlett, Dave

Dave "Davey" Hazlett is a drummer who was a member of Robbin Thompson's band Mercy Flight and who played as a temporary fill-in for Vini Lopez in Bruce Springsteen's band Steel Mill in 1970 while Lopez was sorting out legal difficulties. Hazlett was immortalized as "Hazy Davy" in Springsteen's song "Spirit In The Night". He currently performs with Hazy Dave and the Mission Band.
