Ciambotti, John

John Ciambotti (September 6, 1942, Mill Valley, CA – March 24, 2010, Glendale, AZ) was an American bass player best known as a member of the 1970s Bay Area rock band Clover, which backed Elvis Costello on his debut album, and as a session musician for acclaimed folk-rockers including Lucinda Williams, John Prine, and Carlene Carter. His daughter Gia Ciambotti toured with Springsteen as a member of The 1992–93 World Tour Band.
