Bramble, Lachlan

Lachlan Bramble is an Australian violinist. He studied at the University of Melbourne under Mark Mogilevsky and continued with Barbara Jane Gilby at the Australian National University, gaining a Masters degree in Music Performance in 2005. He has also taken lessons in Europe with Lydia Mordkovitch, Howard Davis, Dora Schwarzberg, and Peter Sheppard-Skaerved, and has performed in masterclasses with Cho-Liang Lin and Regis Pasquier. Lachlan is currently Associate Principal 2nd Violin of the ASO and has also performed as Acting Concertmaster. He has also worked with the Melbourne and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras and Orchestra Victoria. Lachlan has previously tutored violins of the AYO, Adelaide Youth Orchestra, AYO National Music Camp and at State Music Camps in Victoria and South Australia. In 2011 Lachlan is directing the Elder Conservatorium Chamber Orchestra. Lachlan is also violinist with the Benaud Trio.
