McDonald, Matthew

Matthew McDonald is an American jazz trombonist who has performed at numerous jazz festivals and conferences and with many different ensembles including The Max Weinberg Big Band, Smoke Big Band, Birdland Big Band, Fat Cat Big Band, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, and Ken Peplowski's Kingdom of Swing. In 2007, he was invited to perform with his own quartet in Manizales and Medellin, Colombia as one of the "Promising Artists of the 21st Century".
