Kohrs, Randy

Randy Kohrs (born New Virginia, IA) is a sought-after studio all-round musician who has played on over 500 albums. With the release of his fifth solo CD Quicksand, multi-instrumentalist Kohrs has once again proven to be a first-class singer, songwriter and producer. Three Grammy nominations and a win in 2008 with Jim Lauderdale consolidated his reputation as one of the best all-around musicians in the Nashville scene. His favorite instrument is the resonator guitar (Dobro), which he uses perfectly in country music.
