Conti, Robert

Robert A. Carney (ca. 1945 – January 8, 2020), better known by his stage name Robert Conti, was a Jersey shore musician best known as a member of the Asbury Park vocal group the Broadways alongside Billy Brown and Ronald Coleman beginning in 1964. He toured with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band as an assistant in the 1970s, a job that included cutting band members' hair and setting up stage gear.
