Gordon, Robert

Robert Ira Gordon (March 29, 1947, Bethesda, MD – October 18, 2022, New York City, NY) was an American rockabilly musician. Gordon rose to fame performing in several genres including alternative rock, punk rock, and rock and roll. In 1977 Springsteen donated the unreleased "Fire" to Gordon, playing piano on the studio take that was released on Gordon's Fresh Fish Special album in April 1978.
