Steven Van Zandt (also known as Little Steven and Miami Steve) (born November 22, 1950, Boston, MA) plays guitar and mandolin in The E Street Band, of which he was a member from July 20, 1975 through 1983 and again from 1999 to the present. He is also a renowned songwriter, arranger, record producer, actor, and radio disc jockey and is well known as an actor in the television drama The Sopranos (1999-2007), in which he played the character Silvio Dante.
