Roslin, Vinnie

Vinnie Roslin (1947, Neptune, NJ – February 11, 2012, Freehold, NJ) was the bass guitarist for Steel Mill from its naming in November 1969 through February 28, 1970. He was replaced by Steven Van Zandt. He was also the bassist in Child from its founding in February 1969 until the group's name was changed to Steel Mill in November 1969. After leaving Steel Mill, Roslin played in several other Jersey Shore bands, including the Motifs, Maddog & The Shakes (with Vini Lopez), and the George Theiss Band. Roslin died in February 2012 from complications related to heart surgery.
