Every Mother Counts is a compilation CD compiled by and released exclusively through Starbucks. Inspired by Christy Turlington Burns's documentary No Woman, No Cry, they sat down with Burns and made a list of some of her favorite artists who are mothers as well, inviting each to contribute a song about motherhood. Spurred by the message, many went into the studio and recorded something exclusively for this CD to help raise funds for maternal health-relief efforts worldwide.
