Overview

The End Of The Road is a free, limited edition CD by John Luraschi, a recognized Creator of the Sounds of Asbury Park (SOAP). John began playing bass at the Upstage Club in Asbury Park when he was fourteen years old and went on to sing professionally on the Jersey Shore for more than 40 years. While battling Stage IV cancer in 2008, between chemotherapy cycles, John's spirits were lifted by the opportunity to record his own album through the benevolence of Joseph DeMaio of Shorefire Recording Studios. It was brought to Joe's attention that John wished to leave behind music he created for future generations to enjoy. Joe stepped forward as Producer to record, mix and master the work. John received permission from Bruce to record two songs - "Seeds" and "Savin' Up", and far into the project Jon Landau Management's permitted Bruce to sing with John. Toby Scott of Thrill Hill Recording added to Joe's recording on "Savin' Up" for the two long time friends and "Savin' Up" became a duet with John and Bruce. This is a limited edition and not for sale, given away at the CD release party in March 2008.
