20.10.80 Denver, CO, intro to ´´Factory´´
´´It wasn´t until….it wasn´t until I got to be around 28 or 29 that I started to, think back about what my parents, what my folks had done with their lives ´cause I was, when I was growing up, all I remember is my father used to get up way before me….if you´d come in late, he´d sit in the kitchen at night in the dark, smoking a cigarette, drinking a six-pack of beer….and it wasn´t until I got, I got a little older that I started to think about all the jobs he had, he gave, the stuff he gave up for me and I wrote this song for him… if your folks are working every day at a job they can´t stand…..for you, this song´s for you…..´´

20.10.80 Denver, CO, intro to ´´Independence Day´´
´´I remember I used to….when I was about nine years old, I used to come down in the morning and my mother used to always have, used to always have the radio on in the kitchen, at the time there was a station in New York, it was a top, top 40-station, it was called WMCA….and I remember it wasn´t until I started listening to the radio….and I heard, heard my first rock´n´roll that I thought that….that life didn´t have to be the way that it was, that there was other things you could do, that there was possibilities, there was chances you could take if you´d go out and take ´em….and I remember my mother and my father, they never got to take those chances and it´s easy to miss ´em (?) so if this is your first year away from home….this is for you….´´
