15.02.81 Lakeland, FL, intro to ´´Independence Day´´
´´If you´re far away from home tonight, this is for you….(music starts)….I remember when I was 18…..and I finally….I finally got out of the house, I was sure I was never gonna go back again…..and I wanted to forget….every place and every face in that town that I grew up in…. and I wanted to move….far out aways and forget that I had…..that I had parents or relatives ….and for a long time…..my folks moved out to California….and for a long time when I was growing up….I, I always felt a little strange because I never missed ´em and….and it wasn´t until I got to be about 29….that…..you learn to realise that your family is never gonna go away and if you don´t learn how to deal with it….it seems in the end you can´t deal with yourself….and I finally got a chance to….to talk to my folks and talk to my old man about the things that I wish we could´ve talked about when I was 18 years old….but you lose something, all those years, they, they take something away, so if you got a chance, you ought to try and talk to ´em….´cause I´m sure you got a lot of stuff to say to each other (chuckles) ….´´

15.02.81 Lakeland, FL, intro to ´´This Land Is Your Land´´
´´This is a song that was…..written by Woody Guthrie….and it was written as answer to ´God Bless America,´ it was….and in the years (?) it´s been sung, it´s been misinterpreted a lot, quite a few times….but it´s like an answer to all the….prejudice and hatred sometimes that runs around under the cloak of patriotism or nationalism….and….it was written as a fighting song because it´s up to you guys and, and us, we gotta fight to make this song true…..´´

15.02.81 Lakeland, FL, middle of ´´Rosalita´´
´´On the piano, Professor Roy Bittan….on the guitar, Miami Steve Van Zandt….on the bass guitar, Mr.Garry W.Tallent….on the drums, the Mighty Max Weinberg….on the organ, Phantom Dan Federici….and last but not least….king of the world….master of the universe ….emperor of all things….faster than a speeding bullet….more powerful than a roaring locomotive….able to leap tall women, I mean tall buildings in a single bound….is it a bird ? (crowd: ´No´) is it a plane? (crowd: ´No´) then what is it?…. Clarence Big Man Clemons….´´
