´´I remember I used to….sit with my father in the kitchen at night….and we´d talk about….. what I wanted to and what he wanted me to do…..and….he always thought I should be a lawyer or a doctor (cheers) are you lawyers or doctors out there? (chuckles)….but I wrote this song ´cause I´ve been, I´ve been lucky, I´ve got about as much freedom as, as money can buy in this country but there´s a lot of people that are not….and it seems like you´re never truly free until everybody else is….´´

´´Ladies and gentlemen….boys and girls….to the far left of the stage….we got a man, the only member of the bend with a high school diploma…..so let´s hear it for higher education and Professor Roy Bittan….then we got a man, that brought you such great hits as ´I Don´t Wanna Go Home,´ ´Sweeter Than Honey,´ ´This Time It´s for Real,´ ´Some Things Just Don´t Change, ´ ´Daddy´s Come Home,´ ´Trapped Again,´ the great Miami Steve Van Zandt on the guitar….next we got a guy, all the way from Neptune, New Jersey, plays the bass real good, I´m talking about the one, the only, (?) funky Mr.Garry W.Tallent on the bass….we got a gentleman back on the drums, all the way from South Orange, I´m talking about the king of the big beat, the Mighty Max Weinberg….and now, over there on the far right of the stage, the only red-headed member of the band, coming to you all the way from Flemington, New Jersey, I´m talking about the one, the only, plays the accordion, plays the glockenspiel, plays the (?), plays the ace note, plays the Hammond B3, Phantom Dan Federici on the far right…. and now (cheers) I don´t blame you for being excited because I´m gonna introduce to you a man, everybody knows is the king of the world, the master of the universe, the emperor of all things….faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a roaring locomotive, able to leap tall women, I mean tall buildings in a single bound, I ain´t talking ´bout a bird, I ain´t talking ´bout a plane, I ain´t talking ´bout a train, I ain´t talking ´bout a bus, I´m talking ´bout gimme a C-L-A-R-E-N-C-E, what´s that spell ? (crowd: ´´Clarence´´) what´s that spell? (crowd: ´´Clarence´´) what´s that spell? (crowd: ´´Clarence´´) Spotlight on the Big Man….´´
