´´(?)….it seems harder to stay, stay connected to things these days, you know, it´s uh….I think when people get….isolated from their jobs and isolated from their families and from their friends….it doesn´t leave much, much left to hang on to….you just get kind of consumed by that, that feeling of powerlessness….”

´´Alright….what I wanna know is how many old-timers we got out there ? (cheers) what I mean is is there anybody out there over 30 years old ? (cheers) is there anybody out there as old as me ? (cheers) you ain´t as old as me (?) how old ? 17 ? that´s just right, no, no…. it´s not the kind of guy I am…..is there anybody out there as old as the Big Man ? (some cheers)(giggles) but he looks good…..here´s a song about old friends….coming up to you in old places….telling you old stories…that you wish they´d forgot (chuckles)…you see….”

´´This is uh….I remember the first car….that I had was a 1957, it was Chevrolet BelAir…. it was nice….and uh …. I bought it for 800 dollars….and had it, had it for quite a while….I guess that´s now being sold somewhere for 10,000 dollars, this car (chuckles) and it doesn´t run as good either (chuckles)…but uh ….I think everybody at one time had to accompany their parents down to …down to the car-lot, pick out the….anybody drive here tonight in their first car ?….(?) you never forget it (chuckles)…. anyway….I always remember going down there with the….it´d be a big family affair, go down there, me and my little sister….it was the only time me and my little sister got together on anything….. was we used to lobby, lobby for a convertible from our dad….and the funny thing was my father, he, he was the convertible-type too except he had something that kept holding him back….”

´´Thanks….I wanna, I wanna thank everybody who´s come down to our shows here in Cleveland, thank you very much….I know there´s a lot of you guys out there who came both nights (?) and uh….I´d also like to say, I´d also like to thank youse for like I said last night this was one of the first towns that really showed us a lot of support ten years ago (?)….I just, just wanna let you know that we, we appreciate it so here´s to you…..”
