´´Thank you, thank you very much….oh….kids (chuckles)….do we, uh…..got any moms and dads out there tonight ? (cheers)…this is uh….my life´s changed a whole lot since the last time I´ve been in this building, you know….a lot of good things, not easy (chuckles) but a lot of good things….and uh….I got my beautiful little girl, six months….a little boy ….yeah, a lot more work than those damn records, let me tell you (chuckles)….and uh…. it´s the old cliches, you know, it changes the way you see everything, it changes the way you feel (?) kids are good, you know, they, uh…..you know, I, I used to, I grew up spending so much time inside my head, think I spent more time inside my head than I did anyplace…..you get those little babies and they don´t let you stay in there, you know, they´re always ´Come out´, you know, they want you to come out into the real world all the time with them….it´s good, it´s a good thing….but I wrote this song ten years ago, I guess it´s a song about the things, the things and the legacy that we´re gonna leave our children out there, what kind of world we´re gonna leave ´em….you know, how we´re gonna, what we´re gonna (?) their small spirits with and, uh, kids are good, they make you wanna be strong for ´em…..so….I don´t know, gonna do this to all the, for all the moms and dads out there tonight….you know….and uh….this is gonna be from my children to your children, God bless ´em…..”

‘‘Thank you, thank you, thank you…..yeah…..so this is the part of the show where I stop and I explain to the audience that we´ve got a sponsor tonight….that’s right, we’ve got a sponsor (chuckles)(?) one more, one more, ah, now, wait a minute…..who is out there selling this stuff with the headband and the jacket and the whole thing ?….somebody’s making a lot of motherfucking shit ! (chuckles)….alright, alright, alright….anyway, I’m not gonna try and sell you no sneakers, I’m not gonna try and sell you no beer, I’m not gonna try and sell you no, no, uh, no, uh,uh…..that’s right, there are a few things out in the concession stands during intermission but I’m not gonna mention those right now because our sponsor tonight is (crowd : ‘Love!’), that’s right, that’s right, now who out there has been stepped on, messed up, stabbed in the heart, broken in half, had their pride stripped away, been humiliated, nabbed at by love ? (cheers)…..thank you for your honesty….but you keep coming back and you keep coming back and that takes faith…you’ve got to have faith, you’ve got to have hope and this next song is about hope, love, faith and bizarre sexual practises….because over here you´ve got love, over here you’ve got fear and there’s only one way to get between the two….”
